Questioning

Life is a blur
Confusion has set in
Unknowing the known
Has become my end

Questioning instinct
Understanding my heart
Losing tradition
Beginning from start

Unsure of who to love
Listening to a small still voice
Uncovering my desires
Ignoring others choice

Praying for answers
To questions off path
Expecting no answer
Except that of wrath

Hoping for peace
To find my way
To discover my passion
To move on in this way

Living for others
To find pleasure in me
Appeasing the rest
With cheerful glee

Looking for support
From all but above
Discovering the choice
To ignore those I love

Moving towards mercy
Expecting to find grace
Knowing I am loved
Just have to find the place

Accepting I am different
But of sacred worth
For God who has loved me
Ever since the day of my birth
