Hatred, anger, lost for words.
Crying, confusing, damaged hearts.
Sadness, madness, hurtful things.
Feelings that came out.
He said no, she said why.
And I didn’t understand.
These people are my family
Yet he hit me with his hand.
Slap! Fall! Crouching…
Wanting to get away.
Kick! Punch! Screams!
All because I’m gay.
I lost my friends, my heart, my soul.
And no one seemed to care.
So finally I said, “to hell with it.”
And jumped without at dare.
