The Me Within

The chance I get to say I’m me
Never wondered about how
I became to be
A human with many
Possibilities no one
Ever wondered about
The hurt within never
Annoyed anyone, never
Mentioned or even said
Ouch!
The chance to say I’m
Me is like the chance
To never be able to
See
A human without a
Freedom to speak
Is like a mom without
A cheek
Someone once said
Our deepest fear is
Not that we are
Inadequate but powerful
Beyond measure
Someone should find
Out the me within
Like it’s a
Big treasure.
