Untitled

The woman slouches on the corner curb at a busy intersection. People rush by dressed for work, school and travel, ignoring her as they go on with their busy, important lives. Their eyes scan from the crosswalk to the entrance of the trainstation as if she wasn't there. She is a ghost to them. She is not significant to people in their own worlds. But, she could be a mother, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a grandmother and so many other things, but nobody cares enough to stop and look, to see what is truly there, or to try to understand the people with the least amount of voice. Even though she is on the corner sidewalk of a busy intersection she has a life that is just as important as yours and mine.
