To say this has been a growing experience, would be an understatement.

To say that fear, doubt, frustration, and anger have made themselves known to me, would be an understatement.

To say that hope, joy, and new dreams have made themselves known to me would be an understatement.

To say that who I thought I was, who I want to be, and who I’m created to be are duking it out for the spotlight, would be an understatement.

To say that this journey I walk between the culture that runs through my veins and the culture I live in day to day, is a long and painful road would be an understatement.

But to say that I walk with community, ”Amistad,” love, and peace, now that is an understatement.
