Everyday I went to this class
Everyday I sat trying to concentrate
and completed my work. I was
Different from everybody else.
I was the only one. I listened,
I watched I learned I gained but
that wasn't enought. I was expected to
give my point of view because
I was the only one.
The topic was new and uncomfortable
for most it had everything to do
with what they had done. But
all the eyes were on me because
I was the only one.
Couldn't they understand that sometimes
I just wanted to be let be.
But I couldn't escape because most
questions were addressed to me.
So I told her that it wasn't cool.
It's not right to pick on me cause I'm
the only minority in school. So she
backed off and attempted to
understand. So tensions were cooled
and most questions were done and I felt
that I wasn't ridiculed for being the only one.
