When I went to the Shaw neighborhood

When I went to the Shaw neighborhood, I had to second guess where I was at, because a small town Iowa boy just doesn’t imagine his nation’s capital to be like that. Before coming on this trip, I had no idea that DC was more than just the White House, monuments and a few bigger buildings in a city than Iowa. I now know that there is a lot more to Washington, DC.
