5 years ago, I was at the height of my career. As the head of the financial department of a major corporation, I had just been promoted and life was good. I had a decent house to myself and wasn't looking to settle down. I enjoyed buying expensive things and had no worries. One day everything went wrong. It turns out the head of the company I worked at had been embezzling and laundering money. We were bankrupt and unemployed. The stocks I had invested in the corporation were worthless. I figured I could live off of my savings for a while until I got back on my feet, back working again. But it turns out no one wants to hire me because they believed I had to have been responsible for the company's downfall and they turned me away like I was a convict.
Months went by and eventually years, but I could not get a job to repay all of my debts I had made and support myself. Eventually I lost my home, my car and my hope. I had gone bankrupt and ended up living in shelters. My name is Dwight. I am only 30, I am not a criminal, and I have no where to go.
